Craig Webb graduated with Distinction from Birmingham Conservatoire. He has continued the life long study of music, learning to play trumpet and studying George Russel?s 'Lydian Chromatic Concept of Tonal Organisation'. However, Craig believes that in recent years, he has experienced more significant developments by allowing himself to have musical heroes. The music and lives of two trumpeters have inspired him in all his musical activities. Dizzy Gillespie and Wynton Marsalis are musicians that are not afraid to discover their true nature. Dizzy spent so much time with Charlie Parker exploring the nature of harmonic environments and creating a sound later to be named 'bebop' Dizzy still had the professionalism to fire his friend when he was late and under the influence of drugs. After all, he had a band, clients and a family to think of. Wynton Marsalis has a respect for history and truth that has forced him to understand and change his own racism. Both men have found the time to share things they have learned thus making sure the Jazz music is free music and freedom music for all.

Steve Jenkins was inspired to pick up the guitar at the age of 14 after hearing Alexis Korner's 'Guitar Greats' radio programme in 1983. Steve quickly developed a passion and feel for the blues in all it's forms. His playing has been influenced by artists like Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, John Schofield and BB King. Steve has played with Bluesy Susie since 2002.

Steve Tarner began his musical career as a sax player. However after buying his first double bass on 9-11, he has never looked back. Concentrating on the upright, Steve has played in many settings, from Jazz lounge Lizard with many ensembles including Dominic Norcross, Rod Kelly, Kitty Bevan to the freer styles of Mark Latimer and The Coltrane Dedication, mixing up some folk with De Bop Da Jig and some Latin grooves with Roberto de Plas.

John Evans (aka Evan the Drum), has been playing the drums for over 1000 years. He obtained his music Degree from Wolverhampton University, studying composition, performance, ethnomusicology, orchestration and music technology. American Drum Legend Jim Chapin has tutored him, as well as Trevor Tompkins, Tony Levin, and Zen Buddhist Priest, JazzDrummer Chris Burrows, formerly of Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Circus. He has a wide range of influences, including Ginger Baker, Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, Paul Motian and Billy Martin. He plays a wide range of musical styles (such as jazz, funk) with a passion, energy and sensitivity to the instrument and the musicians around him. He has recorded for Paul Weller's Respond records in the 1980s, and at top studios such as Polygram and Rockfield.
